Applications for E-Declaration User Changes Can Now Be Made Through e-Government

In the announcement made by the Social Security Institution on October 22, 2024, it was stated that applications for e-Declaration user changes can now also be made through the e-Government system.

Currently, employers fulfill their obligations to the SSI using the e-Insurance username and password obtained from the Institution.

Within this scope, during the workplace registration process via the e-Government Gateway, the e-Declaration user could be designated online. However, changes to designated users had to be made by physically applying to the relevant units.

Excluding intermediary workplaces, SSI has launched a program that allows workplaces to make e-Declaration user change procedures through the e-Government Gateway, just as they do during the registration phase.

Thanks to this new feature:

  • Employers or their representatives for individual workplaces,
  • Managers for public and private legal entity workplaces,
  • Employers or partners for ordinary partnerships/joint ventures,
  • Managers for apartment managements,

Can now apply for e-Declaration user changes via the internet.

Interested parties can log into the Workplace Declaration (for employees under 4/a) application through their e-Government accounts and apply for an e-Declaration user change by using the "e-Declaration User Change Procedures" menu. Once the applications are approved by the relevant SSI unit personnel, the e-Insurance agreement must also be approved by the applicant via the e-Government Gateway to complete the user change process.

Although it is now possible to perform e-Declaration user change procedures online, direct applications to the relevant units will also continue to be accepted.

Detailed explanations about the process of applying for e-Declaration user changes via the e-Government Gateway have been provided in the published guide.
