New Regulation on the Deadline Extension for Retrospective Incentive Change Requests

New Regulation on the Deadline Extension for Retrospective Incentive Change Requests

In the General Letter No. 4909683 dated 23/3/2020, SSI has announced the deadlines and instructions with regards to the monthly premium and service declarations of the employers who made their applications for benefiting from the previous premium promotion, support and discounts within the legal period.

However, they need some revisions with regards to the deadlines due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Based on this, SGK has published a new announcement on 01.06.2020 with no 6383458 and the previously published announcement dated 22.05.2020 with no 6237651 has been abolished as of its publication date.

The relevant provisions of the SSI are as follows:

-Within the scope of the first paragraph of the Article 17 of the Law No. 5510, to benefit from an incentive or for a retrospective incentive change, related to 2018 / April and beyond;

With regards to the employers who have not submitted their original / additional / canceled monthly premiums and service declarations for the related months as of the publication date of this general letter although they have applied to SSI within the legal period of six months; the premium and service documents must be uploaded to the system by 30/06/2020 at the latest (including this date).

-Within the scope of the second paragraph of the Article 17 of the Law No. 5510, to benefit from an incentive or for a retrospective incentive change, related to 2018 / March and beyond;

Within the legal period of 2018 / March and before (1/6/2018 and before), employers requesting incentive or incentive change should submit their monthly premium and service declarations related to these applications until 30/06/2020 (including this date), through the screens of "e-SGK / Employer / E-Declaration V2 / Monthly Premium Service Document Entry".

Accordingly, the employers, who made the request for an incentive or incentive change for 2018 / March or beyond, within the legal period, will have to submit the cancelled / original / additional monthly premium and service documents to the Institution via "e-SGK / Employer / E-Declaration V2 / Monthly Premium Service Document Entry" to the SSI until 30/06/2020. Otherwise, these monthly premium and service declarations will not be processed.

On the other hand, the General Letter No. 6237651 dated 22/5/2020 has been abolished as of its publication date.
