Guideline for Recruitment Specialists for Writing Emails
- “The people you want to reach the most are the ones who, by default, delete e-mails”Seth Godin
The prime goal of a recruitment specialist is to find the candidate who is qualified for the position. The communication process follows after.
Even though face to face communication is the most effective way to communicate; for reaching out to the candidate and providing information regarding the position, other communication methods might be necessary. One of these are e-mail communication which is used prevalently.
As the initial phase of communication with the candidate, e-mailing will constitute the first impression regarding employer’s brand and recruitment officer’s personal brand. Therefore, a poorly written e-mail with full of mistakes would demotivate the candidate, and damage the image of both the employer, and recruitment officer.
